Hm

Feeling too crummy to come up with an interesting title.

We had people over for dinner last night. This is seriously something we NEVER do but I did it. I spent ALL DAY cleaning the house. RF scrubbed the kitchen for me while the kids helped with the living room and dining room and I cleaned the bathroom. Seriously, every time I thought I was actually done, I found one more thing that had to be cleaned. At one point, I scrubbed the lid of the trash can because I thought it looked bad. I know the people that we had over are my friends and they wouldn't have ridiculed me too badly but I suffer from house jealousy. They have nice, newer construction homes. I live in a crummy basement of a house that was built in the 50s and remodelled to include a the basement by someone who knew nothing about house planning. It was some kind whose MIL got sick so he threw up some walls in the basement so she could have a place to stay in their house. So I over-compensated for the age of my house by cleaning like a mad woman. Then I cook all afternoon.

I was supposed to go to BN with S and J and their kids but I'm super glad I passed. I was under the mistaken impression that I could get everything done I needed done in a couple of hours. What a joke that was :)I'm sad we didn't get to go to the museum, but I'm glad dinner worked out.

I got a call today from the PTA president about bringing the PTA into the 21st century. I'm always pushing for more techy stuff and always getting rebuffed. If something isn't easy, people aren't going to do it. She decided that I was right and we are meeting today to discuss how to modernize our communication. Good stuff.

I have a cold. My head is all stopped up and I feel like crud. Blah.

I watched about an hour of Sweeny Todd last night and I was bored to tears. I like musicals, but I don't like where nearly every line is sung. I prefer normal movies that randomly break out in song. I saw Les Mis a few years ago and hated it. Sweeny Todd is pretty similar. :( I had hoped it would be good but I was disappointed.

Good doctor, bad guy

So TB woke up this morning complaining that his chest hurt when he took a breath. To the doctor we went, to make sure it wasn't bronchitis or anything serious. MT was also complaining that her ears hurt so we took her too, just to make sure. We went to CC but were told, as usual, that peds likes to see their patients so they got us in with a new doctor, Dr Porter. If I didn't already have a doctor that I liked, I would switch to her in a HEARTBEAT. She was super. She laughed and joked with the kids, answered all their crazy questions (you all know the kinds of wacky stuff my kids come up with) and gave them both medicine to help, even though neither needed antibiotics. TB got but on Albuterol and Pulmacort with the nebulizer because of his history of lung issues and wheezing. MT had fluid in her ears but it wasn't infected yet so she has some decongestant, although no where seems to carry it so CVS has to order it and it will be in tomorrow.

Then, we went to McDonald's for lunch (after I spent all morning cleaning, I so didnt' want to mess with lunch). While we were there, the kids were running across the room and pretending to run into the wall and then falling down. Apparently the guy that works there didn't know they were pretending and was freaking out. He kept saying "stop, stop that, quit doing that". Of course, my kids barely listen to me so they weren't paying him any attention at all. They played for awhile and some other kids showed up and they were all playing, very nicely, together. They were sitting at one of the unused tables and after a bit, MT started shoving the table around and banging it's legs on the floor. I told her to quit and she did. Instead she (and a couple of the other kids) starting banging on the top of the table like a drum. They were all laughing and having a good time. All of a sudden, this guy just SCREAMS at them to "STOP IT" and the stormed out of the door. Pardon me? You don't get to yell at my kids. RF immidiately got up and went to find a manager. He told him what had happened and was told "they were very sorry and someone will talk to him" which basically means, "sucks to be you dude, if you don't like it, don't come here anymore". As we were leaving, the guy came out and glared at me. I didn't say anything but if he ever says another to my kids again (we see him there pretty much every time we go for lunch), I won't remain so quite!

Party time

October starts birthday season in our house. TB's birthday is October 19th, but we end up celebrating more of the month than not because of all the parties we have. Yesterday was the first one of those parties. We had his friends come to a pool party at the Aquatic Center.

The party went really well. As well as any gathering of lots of people can go. We got to the pool about 2:10 for the 2:45 party. The girl at the desk told us that people that had the room before us were still up there but they had the room until 2:15 so it wasn't a huge deal. We started carrying stuff upstairs, only to find out that they were just finshing up their food and hadn't even done the cake yet! We gave them until 2:20, when we told them that we really needed to get in the room get set up so they needed to get a move on. The mom came downstairs to find me and wanted to know if we were swimming first or going to the room first. I told her that we were going to room first, because even if we weren't, we needed to get it setup for when we were up there. By this time, it was 2:30 and things needed to get DONE! The guard told me then that if we needed them out, to let the head guard know and they would get them out. I went and got the head guard and she told them to book outta there, as they should have done on their own. They decided that they could have their cake sitting on the bleachers but they acted all upset that we wanted them out at the time they were supposed to be out. As soon as the last kid was through the door, I was in starting to set our stuff up. They came in and asked if we wanted them to clean up and I said of course I did, I would just work around them. Duh!

By then the guests started arriving and we got them in the pool with my dad and brother, while RF and I waited for additional guests. Once everyone got there, I got in the water with the kids, where they swam until about 3:30, when we called them for cake.

The cake was a little DIY because there was not a Star Wars cake to be had in this town. We had Walmart (who makes some darn good cakes) make a cake with black icing and orange writing and border. We had some Star Wars figures that we were going to wash and stick on the cake but Obi-Wan was missing his lightsaber so I went to Toys R Us to find some figures that we could use. I ended up finding the Obi-Wan and Anakin from the Mustafar battle, which was what we were trying to re-create with the black and orange. I set them up so they looked like they were battling and then stuck the darth vader candle holder on the other corner (it was a DV figure and the red candle went in his hands like his light saber).

TB asked if we could do presents as soon as we came upstairs and I agreed that once the cake and icing were everywhere, I didn't want the presents in the middle like that. So he opened his presents first and he got some really awesome stuff! He got 3 Lego Mission sets, all three were different, which is amazing. He also got a Star Wars Clone Wars clone trooper set, and a fighter ship. Then he opened a present that had two of the Clone Wars figures in it. As soon as he pulled them out, I started laughing. They were EXACTLY the same Mustafar battle figures that I bought the day before to put on the cake! No biggie though, we took them back today and exchanged them for 2 different figures (a light up R2D2 and a battle droid). Then we moved on to the cake.

We sat the cake in the middle of the table and sang to TB and then moved it to a side table to cut and serve. I pressed Frank, Missy's husband, into service as the cake delivery guy while mom cut and I scooped. The kids all dug in with wild abandon. The black icing made a CRAZY big mess. I took several pictures of the kids smeared in black icing, sticking their tongues out to show how black they were, etc. They thought it was pretty awesome :)

Once they were done with the cake, they went back down to the pool to wash the icing off. They swam until about 4:30, when most of the kids started trickling out. We rounded up TB (MT fell in the pool and hurt her toe and went home with my mom early) and made him get dressed and came home.

After we left, RF went to the doctor. He told me he didn't feel great at the party but he hung in there to help out. I figured he had bronchitis since I had it and Quigs has it and Looseyfur and Xman have an unspecified "respritory infection". Strangely enough, he came home with Strep. Boo! He was banished to his room for the rest of the night because I don't want that crap!

Barking mad

So, long time, no post. Sunday, I started getting a sore throat. Sinus drainage and all that. I popped some Sudafed and Tylenol and was fine. Monday, the throat got worse, as did the sinus pain. I upped the Tylenol and Sudafed and drank my weight in liquid. Tuesday morning, I woke up coughing some but the sore throat was mostly gone. It was a lovely barking sound that indicates croup. I get croup every year, sometimes 2 or 3 times a year. I'm completely used to it and there is nothing I can do about it. 4 days getting worse, 3 days getting better, over and done. Rest as much as you can, frink plenty of fluids, etc.

As the day wore on, I got worse and in a hurry. We went to Verizon to get new phones (more about that later) and I was flat exhausted. I came home and layed down and felt like I was breathing through a wet washcloth. In addition, I almost completely lost my voice. I put some Vicks on and layed down with a heating pad until it was time to pick up TB from school. It was the only way, I could breathe even a little bit :( It took all the energy I could muster to get out of the van and walk up to the school to pick up TB. We went home and I layed back down because I was dying. However, this felt different from my usualy croup. When I get it, I never lose my voice and I have never had more problems breathing when laying down. I also never wheeze and feel like I'm breathing water.

I decided I need to find out for sure that it was something different and the doctor confirmed that I did not have croup, I had bronchitis :( So I started Zithromax Tuesday night. I took 2 pills, some cough meds, Sudafed, Tylenol, ran the humidifer, ran the Sudacare plug, slathered myself in Vicks and slept on 4 pillows so I could actually breathe. Weds morning, it more Zithromax, lots more Sudafed and Tylenol and I felt much better. Since worn out and not 100% but good enough to go back to Verizon and exchange my new phone for an internet enabled phone that actually GOT on the internet! They didn't have the phone so I came home and took a nap.

Weds night, I went to book club and came home and collapsed. Today, I feel even better. I ran around and went shopping, bought MT some new pants. Looked for some Xmas presents, bought TB's bday present, bought the party supplies for Saturday, raised hell at Verizon (can you sense a theme here), and went to see the Marching Illini play. Now I'm watching TV and getting ready for another early night.

I'll blog more about the phone stuff later. Maybe even from the phone! :)

4th fun

The 4th was great yesterday. We haven't had such wonderful weather for a long time and it couldn't have come at a better. Generally, we all go to my grandma's for the 4th but this year I decided to buck tradition and host my own cookout. Before that, though, we went to the parade. The Boy was pretty upset that they weren't throwing candy (they haven't for awhile so I'm not sure what he was expecting. We were all pretty irritated with water guns on the floats. It is fine, if they are squirting people that want to be squirted but not everyone does and the boy scout leaders need to pay attention instead of playing with their own guns. I was about 1 drop of water from charging the float and confiscating the guns. Fortunately, they got past us so I didn't have to. Ms Thang sat on my mom's lap and fell asleep after complaining about the sirens and the guns. Then she (my mom) decided to start complaining about how she doesn't like parades and how it was too hot and how she was ready to leave. That caused TB to start in on it so we packed up our stuff and left.

Once we got home, we pretty much ran around like crazy, getting stuff ready for our cookout. At 5, some of our guests (my family) showed up, even though it wasn't scheduled to start until 6. I started cooking food and my friends (the people the cookout was actually for, the family was sort of a pity invite) showed up around 6. Libbygirl, Quigs, Looseyfur, and Missy and their families joined us for burgers and hot dogs plus all the watermelon we could eat, as well as tasty sides and decedant desserts. The kids ran all over the back yard, playing the water and sand, stomping in the splashing pool (not a swimming pool because MT was pretty upset that it wasn't big enough to swim in LOL), driving/pushing the car, swinging and sword fighting the night away.

At 9, we all migrated to our front sidewalk/wall to watch the fireworks. I made a big deal about how everybody should come to my house to watch the fireworks because then they wouldn't have to fight traffic, we could see it all, blah blah blah. Then the fireworks started and we couldn't see more than a few. I was super disappointed and a little irritated about it since last year had been so good. About 9:30, a little to right, a big bunch of fireworks went off and we figured out that we had been seeing a smattering of some other town's. Probably Fisher or Mahomet, based on position. I was thrilled that I didn't lie to people about how good the show was from my house. Most of the kids were enthralled. I was pretty amazed at how well they all did. PG LOVED the fireworks and just stared and stared at them. Ms Thang got bored and went in the house, The Boy crawled in RF's lap and fell asleep, Flynn laid in Missy's lap with her fingers in her ears and fell asleep. Bubba, X-Man and Lightening McColin got a little ansty and played for a bit in the yard between watching the fireworks.

I ended up carrying The Boy into the house and putting him to bed. He was running a little fever and I gave him some Tylenol, after insisting that he try to go to the bathroom. As he staggered to the bedroom, he moaned "I'm so tired" and flopped into bed, asleep already. I took Ms Thang and told her she had to go to bed as well. She was sitting in the chair, head back eyes closed, yawning, insisting "I'm not tired, I don't wanna go to bed" I put her in bed anyway and she was there for about 2 minutes before she fell asleep, in the middle of talking to herself LOL

This morning, TB woke up burning up and complaining of a sore throat. I took him CC and they said that they couldn't see anything wrong. His ears were clear and his rapid strep came back negative. The doctor put him on antibiotics until his non-rapid strep comes back on Monday or Tuesday. After we left, I wondered about a sinus infection, but they didn't check that so I'll give him the antibiotics and wait and see for the strep check. Either way, the antibiotics will help. I just hope that he didn't pass anything off to Evan and my cousin that he was playing with yesterday.

This afternoon, we went and saw Wall-E and I wasn't impressed. Ms Thang didn't like it and spent a lot of time saying "I'm tired of being here, this isn't fun" The Boy, whose fever had broken at that point (but has since come back in force), layed his head on the arm of his chair and giggled a few times but didn't seem too interested in it, aside from the slapstick. I'll blog my review of it later and why I didn't like it.

Money

We got our stimulus check back. It wasn't as much as I thought it was going to be because we have no tax liability. I put almost all of it on my student loan, although I kept a $100 to buy a few things I wanted (mother's day presents and new shorts for me) and we should be getting the rest of our refund back in a few weeks and that can also go on the student loan. Sadly, it isn't enough to pay it completely off, which it would have been if we had gotten the full amount, but it will be close and I'll only have a couple of payments after that.

In other news, I was a complete slug today. We went to TKD this morning and that was good. We learned kicking this week, which was cool. We are going to miss next week because C has his first 4-H meeting so we will miss punches but I'm excited about 4-H too. After that, I came home and never ever bothered to change out of my sweatpants. I just sort of laid around and did as little as possible.

Now, I'm debating whether I want to finish watching the movie on TV (Because I Said So) or if I want to watch the rest of Weeds or if want to just turn off the TV and finish my book. In any event, I'm having some ice cream and some iced tea and going to be early, because my throat and ears hurt.

No Good Title

Thanks for all the well wish about the kids and their illnesses. Lizzie finished her meds today (I LOVE Zithromax, it is so easy to remember to give it once a day for 5 days instead of 3 times a day for 10 days like other meds) and has felt better since her first dose. C finally, FINALLY seems to have gotten over his as well. He is eating more and has had no more accidents.

In worse news, I managed to pick it up from him. Yesterday was the worst. I felt like death and of course the kids had to be at their worst because I was in no condition to deal with them. Mostly, I layed around on the couch and dosed most of the day. Except for a while when I coerced Lizzie into the bedroom to watch Little Bear and I was able to nap, for real. Of course, yesterday was the first time in months dh has worked overtime so he wasn't even home to help out.

I feel better today, although still a little icky and not eating much. For the last 2 days, I've eaten a bowl of soup, 3 bowls of white rice and 3/4 of an apple. Plus some iced tea. I imagine I've lost some weight and hopefully I'll keep a bit of it off, although feeling like this is not the recommended way to go about weight loss. I think I might go have another part of an apple though because that is about the only thing that sounds good. If I didn't know better (and I do because it isn't physically possible anymore since I had a hystorectomy when Lizzie was born), I would say I was pregnant because this is exactly how I felt when I was pg with Liz. I craved fruit all the time and that was about the only thing I could eat that didn't make my want to hurl. It is also the reason I LOST 25lbs in my first trimester, resulting in a net gain of like 2 lbs for the whole pregnancy.

In fact, I feel better enough to be disgusted by my house but not yet better enough to actually do anything about it. It looks like a dirty dish and cloths bomb exploded in this place. Hopefully tomorrow, although I'm not particularly interested in spending my whole day cleaning to make up for a couple of missed days. :(

Long time, no post

First, I met Mrs. Chicken at the church playground on Thursday. I felt completely lame just going up to her and asking if she was who I thought she was but she was super nice :) The Poo is adorable and her and Lizzie are a LOT alike.

Second, no posts recently due to illness. About 8:30 Thursday night, I was in the dining room and C came in. He was crying and trying to tel me something. All of a sudden he coughed and I shoved him toward the trash can where he threw up :( He was up a couple more times during the night and has had diahrra (sp?) since then.

Friday afternoon, Lizzie got up from her nap crying and sobbing. She kept telling me that her ear itched so I would scratch it and she would be ok for a few minutes. Then she would start crying again. Finally she said it hurt and I gave her some Tylenol. When my dad got home from work (like 30 minutes after she got up), I took her to the doctor and found out that she had an ear infection in both ears. No other indication that anything was wrong. So now she is on meds for that and while still a bit grumpy (toss up whether that is just Lizzie being Lizzie or if the ear is bothering her) she seems to be feeling much better.

Finally, I was able to get my photo tagging software backed up and I was able to reformat my computer! When I bought my laptop, it was right before Vista came out so I got a free upgrade. I waited until over the summer to install it and regretted it from the get go. Backing up is such a pain in the rear though that I hadn't done anything about it. Finally, it got to the point that it was grinding to a halt and just wouldn't work right and I HAD to get it done. I got everything backed up and put XP back on last night. Dh spent a lot of time getting me new drivers and getting all my programs back up and running. Now, as soon as I figure out how to get my tagged files back on the computer, with tags (they are still on my EHD, where I store them but the tags are gone), I'll be completely done. And it is a good thing :)

Sicky Chicky

Lizzie is sick again today :( Since she was sick earlier in the fall, everytime she doesn't want to do something she says she is going to be sick. We don't believe her at all anymore when she says it. This morning, she woke up at about 6:30 and told me she was going to be sick. I took her to the bathroom (I may not buy it, but I still take her because I'd rather than than clean up puke) and she hung over the toilet making puke noises and looking slyly at me out of the corner of her eye. Eventually, she decided that she wasn't sick and was ready to go back to bed. She laid down with me and dozed off for a few minutes. Then she woke up and told me she was going to be sick again. I handed her the "chuck bucket" as they call it. She sat up for a few minutes then she put the bucket down and asked for "Spongebob" on TV. I turned it on and rolled over to go back to sleep (because 6:30 is a stupid early time to be awake when we don't have to go to school). It wasn't 5 more minutes and she started to cough and threw up in the bed. Well, that was it for sleeping so I got her up and got dh up and had him take care of getting her cleaned up while I took care of the bed.

She laid around on the couch for awhile and ended up getting sick again about 8:30. Around 10, she asked for something to eat so I got her some crackers and a little 7 up. About 11, she threw it up all over the dining room and herself. I put her in the tub, while I cleaned up the floor and then let her lay on the couch and watch Blue's Clues. At noon, I told her it was naptime and although she was pissed, she went to sleep in under 10 minutes :) She slept for 2 hours and got up fairly happy. She was hungry again and I cautiously handed over about 15 crackers and maybe 2 swallows of 7up. She did fine and asked for a banana which she also did fine.

We did the paper and then she came home and had some soup and ice chips (she didn't want anything to drink but she was thirsty) and is now sleeping quitely. I am a mean mommy though because I'm making her sleep with a little blanket tonight (not so little that it doesn't cover her all the way up, she just can't thrash all over the bed and remain covered) because it is easier to wash if she does get sick in the night.

Sick

Lizzie has croup. Fortunately, her mother still gets croup (the doctor tells me that I really should have outgrown it by my teens but I still get it every year)so no one knows better how to deal with it. She was up most of the night barking like crazy. She seems to feel better today, but that is probably as much being up (since laying flat makes it worse but she wouldn't stay propped up) as anything else. Once she gets up from her nap, I gotta get the bedroom cleaned up and get the humidifer out and set up so that can help a little tonight. I know they say that cough meds don't help, but I believe they do, so we have some of that (triamanic thin strips are really great) and hopefully she'll be feeling better soon. When I get it, it last for a week or more, because I won't take the time to rest like I should. We'll still do her ABC 123 class tomorrow (last one) and then probably won't do much else for the rest of the week.

Sick baby update

Lizzie was up last night throwing up again. She was also lethargic and had gas that would clear a room. She was up from 3 on fussing and whining and telling me her tummy hurt. I took her to the doctor this morning because aside from all that, she hasn't eaten hardly anything for the last 2 days. She is still drinking but only little bits. While we were there, they found out she had an ear infection (her adenenoid surgery was supposed to take care of that problem so we'll see). The doctor gave her some Zithromax (I LOVE Zithro cause I can't remember 2x a day for 10 days) and some anti vomiting medicine in suppository form. She took the Zithro just fine but the other was a real joy She screamed and fought and generally had a cow. She does seem to be feeling better now though. Bed time will be way early tonight though because she took her nap from 9-11 instead from 11-1 like normal.

Cross your fingers that we get a good night's sleep tonight because she starts her wiggles and giggles large motor class tomorrow.

First day and sick kids

I sat down to do some scrapping and then decided to check my email and my LJ and then I decided I needed to blog and then I'm heading to bed. So no scrapping tonight.

Monday was C's first day of school. I expected to cry and be upset, but I really wasn't. I knew crying before I dropped him off would be bad so the one time I teared up, I soldiered on and didn't cry. I thought he had a half day so when I got to school and found out that it was actually a full day, I was thrown for a loop. Because I had to run around and get him lunch and stuff, I didn't have time to be upset.

He loved it. He said he can't wait to go back for another AWESOME day. He says his teacher is sort of nice and sort of mean. I asked him how she was mean and he said "she made us sit at the tables and she wouldn't let me sit with J" (J is another boy in his class that we met earlier this summer). I said "so you think she is mean because she has rules and makes you follow them?" "Well, yeah!" Poor sad little boy :) He also told me that there is a kid in his class that "whines and cries like a crybaby all the time" Well, takes one to know one, Christopher!

When I dropped him off, he kept asking "where is J? When is J going to be here? Have you seen J?" I hung aorund in the classroom with all the other moms and when J walked in, he jumped out of his seat and said "hey buddy, let me help you with that" and helped his carry his bag of supplies to the back table. Then he said "hey, I saved you a seat, come on sit down" J was pretty happy about this because he is kind of shy. They sat there for a few seconds and then C looked up at me and said "you can go now mom" I asked if he was kicking me out and he said "yes, leave now" How rude! But at least he wasn't upset that I was leaving him. :)

On to the sick kids part, I'm so tired of sick kids! 2 weeks ago, C got sick with vomiting and diarrhea. It lasted 6 days (although between bouts he felt fine). Then last week (a day after C started feeling better) Lizzie came down with it. She has spent several nights throwing up most of the night. The first night, mom and I sat up with her most of the night. Then she went a night and was fine. Night after she threw up most of the night again. Next night, fine. Night after, she woke up about 3 am and told me she needed to go to the bathroom and threw up. We stayed up for an hour, but that was it. Then last night, she was sitting and snuggling with Evan and she kept making faces and things. He asked her a couple of times if she was ok and she always said yes. A minute later, I looked over at them and I said, "you need to take her to the bathroom, that is the face she makes before she pukes" He sat there and looked at me and I said "go. Now" He stood up to take her and she puked all over the floor. He sat with her while I cleaned that mess up. She was really restless last night and was a GROUCH all day today. She whined and clinged and griped about everything :( I'm fairly sure we'll have another pukey night ahead of us, but I'm hopeful that I'm wrong. She fell asleep on her own and hopefully she will sleep soundly, but I'm not counting on it.

Off to bed so I can be up half the night (if need be) and still get up and take C to school in the morning.

Blogging kharma

It bit me last night after I griped about my mom. Not 2 hours later, Lizzie started throwing up. I couldn't clean her and the bed and everything else and had to call my mom for help. I had intended for her to come down and help me for a few minutes and then go back to bed. At 5 this morning she finally went back to bed.

Eveytime she tried to leave, Lizzie would throw up and cry for Nonny. My mom ended up laying down and sleeping with her until 5 when she had to get up and get ready for work.

So while I'm still a little irritated about the whole thing with C, I am less likely to lock to door and avoid them forever.

Prince pukes a lot

Last Weds C complained of diarrhea. He seemed fine otherwise will occasionally have unexplained occurances so it wasn't a big deal. Then Thursday, on the way to the library, he started crying and then threw up in the van. We went home and I put him to bed. A couple of hours later, he was STARVING and bouncing around like crazy. Figured it was maybe a fluke or something he ate. Friday he was fine, running around eating everything. Saturday, he had diarrhea again, a little bit but nothing major. Sunday, he woke up and said he felt yucky and then threw up. He threw up a couple of times and then laid down. He ate soup and crackers and grilled chicken and and toast throughout the day with no further problems. About 4 Monday morning, he threw up again a couple times and then went to sleep and was fine. I took him to the doctor Monday morning since this was something that had been going on for several days with no apparent cause. He ate greasy Long John Silver's fish and fries for lunch on Friday and was fine but puked up chicken noodle soup and crackers.

The doctor we saw said that she thought it was a flu bug and it could last a week to 10 days but to keep him off dairy for the time being. Yesterday, it was kind of a pain, because everything he asked to eat had milk in it (can I have toast and butter, what about a milkshake, how about a cheese stick, etc). Today hasn't been bad. He figured out pretty fast what he can and can't have and is making the accomodations himself. Like tonight he asked for a Kid Cuisine cheeseburger meal without the cheese. He has started asking if he can have things if he isn't sure (does that corn have milk in it?) and taking no for an answer pretty easy. Hopefully, that was the root cause of it and his stomach will heal shortly. He doesn't need to start K with a cast and stomach problems. We are only doing obvious milk, like milk, butter, cheese, ice cream, not the hidden stuff that is in nearly everything else.
