To do or not to do

Do I eat the ice cream and go over by 1 point or do I suck it up and go to bed without, putting me under by 7 points for the day? Weighing into this decision is the fact that I'm once again stuck at the same weight for several weeks in a row and I'm starting to think that it doesn't matter what I do, this is where my body wants to be. Suggestions?

Eat the ice cream, but only eat the amount that you have points for.

OR (and this is crazy, I know), replace the time that you would sit there eating the ice cream with some physical activity. :)

Jesus Christ, you sound like Karen! LOL But running up and down the stairs doesn't taste as good as ice cream :)

Meh. You've had ice cream before. It still tastes the same.

And really, my first response was way nicer than me telling you how lame you were for writing "it doesn't matter what I do, this is where my body wants to be." ;)

I need to get it together and make some sugar free Jello. I never think about it during the day, it only occurs to me at 8 pm when I'm sitting down to watch TV and don't have enough points for something sweet, like I want.

And seriously, somebody needs to tell me what the hell I'm doing wrong (it is probably that physical activity thing) because I'm sick of seeing 188, 187, or 186 on the scale every freaking day (so technically, I'm not at the SAME weight but I bounce around between those 3 and have for 3 weeks and I'm sick of it). If someone would tell me, I would fix it.

On the one hand, I keep thinking "meh, this is fine, I'm smaller enough and 10 % is the target for health and I'm happy with that I'll just maintain. NBD" On the other hand, "I'm 15 pounds from having lost 20%. 15 freaking pounds, I should be able to do that" But I'm starting to get frustrated :(

You *know* it's the physical activity. What happened to the Wii stuff? At least try doing that on a regular basis and see if that makes a difference.

It just didn't seem like "enough" It was a lot of time standing around, waiting for the game to load. I'm thinking about renting the EA Active game that just came out and see if it is more upbeat. If not, I guess I could always box. I look like fool but I get sweaty and I guess that is what matters

If it's between the Wii not being enough and not doing anything, I say stick with the Wii for a while and see if you notice a difference. You gotta start somewhere!

You can always come run/walk with me. Or I could come up with soccer drills for you...

Weelll, I actually meant Wii Boxking but TB and I are signing up for some kind of martial arts (we are trying to get Karate but they have 2 different age groups and I need to see if we can get in together. If not, then we'll do TKD in Urbana) in the fall, so maybe in a few months LOL

I was in martial arts for quite a while before we moved here (and my husband even longer) so really if you ever want to spar, I can give you tips. I would really love to get back into it but there isn't a class like we had back home (karate, jujitsu, kung fu and weaponry all in one class) and there def isnt a place that is $20/mos or free if you don't have the money like our class was. So a class isn't in our immediate future.
