Now what?

I bought asparagus today at the store. Now, what do I do with it? I'm thinking about maybe grilling it but as you all know, I prefer veggies raw so suggestions for that would be good too :)

We love it grilled, or just lightly steamed. I tried it raw a few weeks ago and was impressed with how good it was- when it's cooked the bottom part is usually too hard for me, but raw I actually thought it was better than the top.

Um, Joel likes to wrap it in bacon and then grill it... I usually steam it. You can also put it in a stir fry, which is awesome.

I roast it with a little olive oil and some spices. But it's a little hot to be turning on the oven.

Not at my house. It is freezing cold here because to cool the upstairs to a tolerable level, the downstairs has to be about 40 below. Sometimes, I plan meals in the oven, just because I'm so cold

I love to grill or saute my asparagus, but saw a recipe recently using it raw as a sort of salad.

The latest issue of Vegetarian Times has tons of asparagus recipes. Grilled asparagus is one of my very favorite things in the world. You could just blanch it and then eat it.
